Your photo and any dish correction are sent to OpenRouter and the configured AI model provider to generate a recipe. Recipai does not save your uploaded photo. Generated recipe text is stored so you can return to it and share it. Anyone with a recipe link can view that recipe; your photo is not included.
We count page views, successful recipe requests, recipe errors, downloads, print actions, shares and clicks on the support button. We store only the referring website’s hostname, not its full URL. A random identifier in your browser’s session storage helps estimate visitor sessions; the stored analytics identifier changes each day. Analytics records are retained for 90 days.
The application analytics do not store your name, email, IP address or photo. Hosting and AI providers may process request information under their own policies. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for analytics.
Supporting Recipai is optional. The support button opens an external payment provider. That provider handles payments and its own privacy practices apply; Recipai does not receive your card details.
